Catholic Social Teaching & American Politics in 2016

Speaker: Dr. Chris Wolfe, Ph.D.

Join us as Dr. Chris Wolfe, professor of Politics at the University of Dallas, discusses a line of Church teachings and encyclicals known as 'Catholic Social Teaching' and how it should inform our thinking as Americans today. Dr. Wolfe will emphasis the reasons why the Church chooses to discuss Catholic Social Teaching topics in the first place. Spoiler: the Church discusses Catholic Social Teaching topics because Jesus discussed them in his own time. Fellowship to follow after 8:30.

Location: STA School Cafeteria. Pull into the main parking lot on Kenwood and follow the blue signs. When you walk through the door, turn right and the cafeteria is straight down the hallway.
