Join us for the third part of the Sacred Liturgy Series on Time, Ministers, and Assembly.
Jim Lee will be our guest speaker this month.
Dr. Jim Lee is Associate Professor of the History of Early Christianity at the Perkins School of Theology at SMU. He also serves as the Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program. Jim received his B.A. in theology from the University of Notre Dame, his M.A. in Church History from the Catholic University of America, and his Ph.D. in the history of Christianity from the University of Notre Dame. He has been on the faculty at SMU for 7 years, where he teaches courses on church history and on topics such as Early Christian Interpretation of the Bible, The History of Christian Mysticism, and The Theology of St Augustine. Jim and his wife Anna were married at St. Thomas Aquinas in 2016, and they have a two year old daughter named Mary Margaret.
Schedule for night:
5:00-6:00 - Confessions
6:15pm - Mass
7:00pm - Gather in Upper School Drama Room
7:20pm - Talk begins
8:45pm - Head to unofficial gathering spot. Location TBD.
